Abstract:

How often do we write tests for the applications we develop? Personally, I only started taking an interest in writing tests for my applications not too long ago. One factor I have identified is the fact that, most learning resources out there mostly have little or no content covering writing tests for your applications. We most often tend to ignore the importance and the effects of writing tests when our application seems to perform its basic operations.

In this talk, we will take a dive into reasons why we should write tests. What aspects of our applications that we could consider writing the tests for. Various ways and test libraries/frameworks that we could leverage on to write tests.
