About Zenas
Zenas Kwaku Awuku is a Data Engineer at Ishango.ai, where he works on building and maintaining data systems that power real-world AI applications. His work focuses on designing data pipelines, ensuring reliable data flow, and supporting the deployment and operation of production-grade machine learning systems.
He holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Ghana and has a strong background in software development, data operations, and technology education.
Zenas is also the Founder of InnovoTech Lab, an initiative focused on equipping young people with practical skills in Robotics, IoT, Embedded Systems, and Computer Science. Through this work, he actively mentors students and educators, helping bridge the gap between theoretical learning and hands-on application.
As an international speaker, he has shared insights at various conferences and events, often focusing on building real-world systems and expanding access to practical tech education across Africa.
Beyond his work in data engineering, he is an Arm Developer and a Quantum Computing enthusiast. Through his combined industry and educational efforts, Zenas continues to support and guide the next generation of African tech talent.
