About Ernest
Ernest Kojo Owusu Essien is a Software Engineer at Amalitech and recent KNUST
graduate. He's passionate about building systems that integrate seamlessly across
tools and teams.
During the Coral hackathon (May 2026), he built Reef—a production incident
intelligence agent that uses Coral to correlate signals across GitHub, Sentry,
Slack, and Vercel. That project sparked his interest in how Python developers can
leverage tools from other ecosystems to solve real problems.
He actively contributes to open source, mentors junior developers, and is deeply
